Moon Tropica features a variety of maps inspired by other popular titles and notable real-world locations. This list will continue to grow as we develop further and incorporate feedback from our community. Additionally, we’re using our imagination to create some truly unique and amazing maps that will offer players fresh and exciting experiences.
Lost Isle
Setting: A tropical set of small islands, surrounded by water, with lush greenery and scattered objects.
Lost Isle offers a unique battleground set across a series of small, connected islands surrounded by water. The map’s tropical setting, complete with palm trees and sandy shores, creates a serene atmosphere that contrasts sharply with the intense battles that take place on its terrain. The islands are interconnected by shallow waters, allowing players to swim between them, adding a dynamic element to the map’s traversal options.
The terrain is dotted with vases and other objects that can be used as throwable weapons, giving players additional tools to outmaneuver their opponents. Each island presents different strategic opportunities, from open areas perfect for ranged combat to more enclosed spaces where melee fighters can excel.
The water surrounding the islands adds an extra layer of strategy, as players must carefully manage their movement between land and sea. Engaging in combat while swimming can be risky, as you’re more vulnerable to attacks, making timing and positioning crucial. The map’s layout encourages players to think on their feet and adapt quickly to the shifting tides of battle.
Coliseum
Setting: An ancient arena filled with platforms, traps, and perilous drops.
The Coliseum map transports players to a grand, ancient arena where danger lurks at every turn. The map is designed with a series of platforms that players can jump between, creating opportunities for strategic movement and sudden ambushes. However, these platforms also come with a risk—one misstep can send you plummeting to the depths below.
Adding to the challenge are the spike traps scattered throughout the map. These traps can spring up and deal significant damage to your character and potentially knock you off a platform. Whether it’s spikes emerging from the ground or other hazards, players must stay alert and adapt quickly to the changing environment.
The Coliseum’s hazardous design makes it a test of both combat skills and agility. Knowing when to engage or retreat, and using the traps to your advantage are keys to surviving and thriving in this arena. The Grapple Gun can be particularly useful here, allowing you to quickly escape a dangerous situation or pull an opponent into the abyss.
Volcanic
Setting: A fiery battleground suspended over a sea of molten lava, filled with platforms, drops, and hazardous fire traps.
The Volcanic map is one of the most treacherous environments in Moon Tropica, where players must navigate a series of precarious platforms suspended above bubbling, deadly lava. The intense heat and fiery surroundings set the stage for high-stakes combat, where one wrong move can lead to an instant defeat.
Strategic positioning is key in this map, as the platforms are often separated by dangerous gaps, forcing players to carefully plan their movements. The presence of fire traps adds another layer of difficulty, as these hazards can suddenly ignite and cause damage.
The Grapple Gun is invaluable here, offering a lifeline to escape a fiery demise or to pull an unsuspecting opponent into the lava.
Vantage Point
Setting: A floating platform high above the skies, featuring a building, billboards, and throwable objects like vases.
Vantage Point offers a unique battleground set atop a floating platform, giving players the sensation of being high above the clouds. The sleek, modern setting is adorned with buildings and vibrant billboards, creating an arena that feels both futuristic and surreal. The expansive, open spaces encourage fast-paced combat, while the elevation adds an element of danger—one wrong move could send you plummeting into the sky below.
Scattered throughout the map are various vases, which can be picked up and thrown at opponents, adding a layer of interactivity to the environment. These throwable objects can be used to disrupt your enemies, force them into vulnerable positions, or even knock them off the platform entirely.
The minimalist design of Vantage Point challenges players to make strategic use of the available cover, while the open areas demand quick reflexes and precise movement. This map is ideal for those who enjoy tactical gameplay while battling in a high-stakes, sky-high arena.
Middlehouse
Setting: A lush outdoor environment surrounded by water, featuring a central house and dense forested areas.
The Middlehouse map offers a picturesque outdoor battleground. The area is defined by its vibrant greenery, with paths winding through thick clusters of trees and bushes. At the center of the map stands the titular house, a strategic location that offers both cover and a vantage point for observing the surrounding terrain.
The map is bordered by water, adding an element of risk for players who stray too close to the edges during intense battles. The dense foliage and scattered rocks create natural obstacles, allowing for ambushes and sudden attacks. Players must navigate carefully, as the layout encourages close encounters and tactical use of the environment.
Vases and other objects are scattered throughout the map, providing additional tools for combat. These items can be picked up and thrown to disrupt opponents or gain a quick advantage. The blend of open areas and narrow pathways makes Middlehouse a map where adaptability and quick thinking are key to victory.
Bombville
Setting: A street setting with accessible buildings, surrounded by a desert environment.
Bombville is a map set within a quaint village surrounded by a sparse, desert-like landscape. The village itself is composed of several small buildings that players can enter, offering both refuge and opportunities for surprise attacks. The ability to navigate in and out of these structures adds a layer of complexity to the gameplay, as players must decide whether to engage in close-quarters combat indoors or use the open streets for more tactical maneuvers.
The environment outside the buildings is dotted with vehicles and scattered objects that can provide cover or be used to ambush opponents. The mix of indoor and outdoor spaces encourages a versatile playstyle, where adapting to the surroundings is key to survival. The buildings themselves may house valuable items or provide a temporary escape from pursuing enemies.
Bombville’s layout, with its narrow pathways and concealed corners, creates an atmosphere of tension where danger could be lurking around every corner. Mastering the map requires keen awareness and the ability to quickly shift between offensive and defensive strategies.
Columns
Setting: A battle arena set within an ancient Greek-style structure, featuring towering columns and scattered ruins.
Columns put players into a majestic yet crumbling Greek-style arena, where towering columns and ancient ruins dominate the level. The map’s architecture provides a historical and grandiose backdrop, while the layout offers a simple and challenging environment for combat.
The columns themselves create natural barriers and chokepoints, making it essential to navigate carefully and strategically. Players can use the columns for cover, ducking behind them to avoid attacks or to plan a surprise strike. The scattered ruins add to the complexity, providing both obstacles and opportunities for creative gameplay, such as using the terrain to gain the upper hand in a fight or setting up ambushes.
The mix of open spaces and tight corridors encourages a blend of both ranged and close-quarter combat, depending on where you engage your enemies. Mastery of movement and an understanding of the map’s layout will be key to leveraging the environment to your advantage, turning the ancient ruins into either a sanctuary or a trap for your opponents.
Frostbite
Setting: A cold, wintry environment set high in the mountains, surrounded by a dense, snow-covered forest.
In Frostbite, players find themselves dueling atop a series of elevated buildings perched in the frigid mountains. The environment is as unforgiving as the combat, with pathways and precarious drops that demand careful navigation. The cold, stark landscape creates a tense atmosphere, where every step could lead to a strategic advantage or a fatal fall. The high-altitude setting not only challenges your combat skills but also tests your ability to control the battlefield..
With limited space to maneuver, confrontations in Frostbite are often intense and direct, pushing players to utilize every weapon and movement item at their disposal. The grapple gun, in particular, becomes an invaluable tool here, allowing you to swing between buildings or pull opponents into the treacherous pits below. Mastering the terrain and the heights of this map can give you the upper hand, but one misstep could send you plummeting to your doom.
